GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame
GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame enthält ähnlich dem thematisch ungebunden Walk of Fame oder dem "Who Is Who" auserwählte wichtige Gospelinterpreten und -formationen. 1971 wurde diese Hall of Fame ins Leben gerufen und enthält inzwischen mehr als 130 namhafte Künstler. Unter ihnen Elvis Presley, Mahalia Jackson, Amy Grant, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Andrae Crouch, Tennessee Ernie Ford, The Oak Ridge Boys, Petra, Bill and Gloria Gaither, the Rambos, Thomas A. Dorsey, the Fairfield Four, Billy Graham and the Jordanaires. 2004 kamen Rev. Al Green, Sandi Patty, Frances Preston und Vestal Goodman. Viele dieser Künstler sind bereits in unserem Lexikon erwähnt.
GMA Foundation (GMAF) ist eine unkommerzielle Einrichtung, welche aus der Gospel Music Association (GMA) entstand. Die GMAF dokumentiert die Geschichte und das Vermächtnis aller Formen der Gospelmusik. Sie wurde 1964 gegründet und enthält rund 4500 Mitglieder.
