Gene Viale
Gene Viale ist inzwischen etwas in Vergessenheit geraten. Er war Mitglied der James Cleveland Singers und der Caravans. 1968 veröffentlichte er auf Checker sein erstes Soloalbum, dem in den 70erJahren mehrere weitere Soloalben folgten. 2004 ist eine neue CD von ihm erschienen. Viale gehört zu den frühen Contemporarygrößen.

Gene Viale brought to the a national audience, by the Rev. James Cleveland in 1964. Gene traveled with the Rev. Cleveland and one of the Original James Cleveland Singers during the 60s'. Featured on the Savoy album "Heaven That Will Be Good Enough For Me". Singing"What A Friend" arranged by the Rev. Cleveland and Charles Watkin's "Heartaches" , arranged by Rev. Andre' Crouch. In the late 60s' began singing as a soloist recording for Checker records. At this time his Gospel career has spanded over forty years and just this past year a new recording release "A Light To This World" his sixth, has been made available to the international Gospel fans.
