Inspirational Choir
Der Inspirational Choir stammt aus Londons Pentecostal First Born Church Of The Living God und besteht überwiegend aus karibischen Einwanderern. Chordirektor und Organist war (ist?) John Francis. Sein Vater war Bischof der Kirche und John Francis kam als 10jähriger bei einem USA-Aufenthalt mit Douglas Miller in Kontakt. 1982 trat der Inspirational Choir zum ersten Mal öffentlich in einer britischen Fernsehsendung auf. Ihre 1985er-LP "Sweet Inspiration" war in Deutschland im Handel und enthält auch Tracks, die eher am Rande als Gospelsongs bezeichnet werden können. Den karibischen Einschlag hört man sowohl in der Begleitung als auch in der Art des Gesanges.
